Principles: open by default, public accountability
IORG believes that open information and civic participation are two core values of defending democracy. Research results, methodology, data, and code produced by IORG are open by default.
As a research body of information manipulation, IORG takes extra care before publishing information ourselves. For public accountability, IORG takes measures to ensure that we stay open and transparent. We conduct public-verifiable data science research, release open data, and disclose our research method. We hope that this could help earn trust from the public, and rebuild public discourse on the foundation of facts and science.
Knowledge is open if anyone is free to access, use, modify, and share it – subject, at most, to measures that preserve provenance and openness.
